He therefore said (to the crowd)"To what does the kingdom of God compare and to what may I liken it? It is like a grain of mustard which a man took and put into his garden. And it grew and became a tree. And the birds of the sky lodged in its branches."
And again

he said "To what may I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven which a woman took and hid in a meal of three measures until the whole of this was leavened." And he journeyed throughout cities and villages teaching, as he made his way to Jerusalem.
